Crowding of the teeth treated with extractions
Adolescent patient with severely crowded teeth. Four permanent teeth were removed and patient wore braces for more than 2 years and loved his new smile now. Dental home care is much easier now that his teeth are straight.
Deep overbite treated without teeth removal
Young adult with a traumatic deep bite where his lower front teeth are biting into his palate and not visible. He wore braces for 2 years and had a great outcome. Now his lower front teeth are visible when he smiles and they are not making his palate sore.
Missing lateral incisors treated without implants
Adolescent patient with congenitally missing upper lateral incisors. Spaces were closed and the adjacent cuspid teeth were reshaped to make them look like the missing teeth. This is an excellent option for some patients who want to avoid having implants placed later on.
Open bite treated non-surgically
Adolescent patient with an open bite treated with removal of four bicuspid teeth and braces without jaw surgery. A very good result was obtained in 2y 8m and toward the end of treatment, patient had to travel back from out of town, which prolonged his treatment time.
Dental protrusion treated with upper teeth extractions
Teenage patient with severe dental protrusion and a very normal lower jaw and dentition. Treatment with full braces involved removal of two upper teeth to correct the dental protrusion. He wore braces for 26 months and is very thrilled with his new smile.
