Meet Dr. Kok-Tow Ng
Orthodontics give me the unique opportunity to interact with all my patients on a personal level. The trusting relationships built up over time are priceless. The new smiles I am helping them achieve makes my work very rewarding. To know that I have helped many people get the smile they always wanted is the best feeling in the world. I've been blessed to have wonderful, incredible patients in the past 20 years and I learn a lot from each and every one of them, and they've enriched my life in return.
Our office strives to make every visit fun for our patients. All my team members love our patients and take the time to get to know them. We work together as a team to make sure each patient's treatment is successful.
I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Malaya and continued on to the University of Florida for my orthodontic certification. My participation in continuing education courses and seminars keeps me abreast of new research and advanced techniques that will improve patient care. I am passionate about giving the best treatment available to my patients.
I am a native of Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, West Malaysia and currently reside in Jacksonville. I have a daughter, Kristy, a Basset hound/Beagle mix dog named Winny, and many goldfish in my koi pond. I love traveling, both stateside and overseas. Reading is something I love to do whenever I find time, my favorite being the Bible, biographies and historical based fiction. I spend weekends pottering in my garden, having lunch with friends one-on-one and going to parks with my dog. Hanging out with my daughter whenever she comes home from college is a treat.
My community is very important to me. I volunteer with the dental clinic at the City Rescue Mission, teach ESL classes at the International Learning Center, and work with the Northeast Florida Baptist Association Mobile Dental Unit. I also love to go on dental mission trips overseas to help those in need of dental care. My recent trips have been to Mexico, Honduras, and Bolivia with various Christian organizations.
